Upon successful completion of the NISM-Series-II-B: Registrars to an Issue and Share Transfer Agents –Mutual Funds Certification Examination, candidates should be able to:
- Know the basics of securities and securities markets.
- Understand broadly the role and functions of the Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTAs) in the mutual fund issuance and transaction process.
- Know the regulatory environment in which the RTAs operate in India.
Assessment Structure
The examination consists of 100 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The total time allotted for the examination is 2 hours. To pass the examination, a candidate must achieve a score of 50 percent. There will be no negative marking in this certification examination, effective from April 1, 2025.
